Esmorzaors borns in the Global Game Jam 2023 in Florida Universitaria, the theme of this year was Roots, so we finally ends making the game that today we could say that was the first demo of Eco-Warriors, in these days call it Root Wars, game with we end on second position of the best games made it on the University for the Jam.
Eco-Warriors is a party game, with the possibility to play with friends in local or online mode, even against the CPU.
The core gameplay consists of conquering the more areas (tiles) than your opponent, you can do it by planting on the empty areas or the areas that your rivals owns to take it from them.
Another key aspect of the gameplay is the mechanic of the orb, which appears every time and gives you a random ability, but in some occasions can punish you, it's completely random!
Is a party game with a heretic gameplay thought for quick plays with friends making the necessity to do the classic “this is the last one”. But it have as well an arcade mode where you can prove your skills.
In Eco-Warrior each player controll a Character with the finality to end the time with more tiles than your opponent. Everything happens in a small stage 5x5 grid with and isometric camera involved with a stylized low poly looking.
